Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Orage Sur La Plaine by Antoine Chintreuil. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,337.00 24% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Antoine Chintreuil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Premiers Jours De Printemps in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Orage Sur La Plaine von Antoine Chintreuil zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.337,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antoine Chintreuil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Premiers Jours De Printemps im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
