Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Merry Company In An Interior by Anthonie Palamedesz.. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,459.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Palamedesz. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A guardroom interior with an officer sounding a trumpet before a mother and child in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 93,600.00 (€ 135,091.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Merry Company In An Interior von Anthonie Palamedesz. zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.459,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthonie Palamedesz. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A guardroom interior with an officer sounding a trumpet before a mother and child im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.600,00 (€ 135.091,25).
