Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A dune landscape with figures resting near a track, a view of Haarlem in the distance by Anthonie Jansz. van der Croos. The price achieved of EUR 15,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Jansz. van der Croos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape With View Of Leiden in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 127,343.26).

Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A dune landscape with figures resting near a track, a view of Haarlem in the distance von Anthonie Jansz. van der Croos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthonie Jansz. van der Croos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape With View Of Leiden im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 127.343,26).
