Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unidentified Child by Andy Warhol was sold in the Andy Warhol at Christie's Sold to Benefit the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts auction at Christies in New York in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 80,500.00 (€ 61,875.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unidentified Child von Andy Warhol wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Andy Warhol at Christie's Sold to Benefit the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts bei Christies in New York versteigert.
