Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
The work Jacqueline Kennedy II by Andy Warhol was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2012. It achieved a price of USD 314,500.00 (€ 241,737.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
