Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Seascape with sailing ships outside a rocky coast by Andreas Christian Riis Carstensen for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.40). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andreas Christian Riis Carstensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Istanbul in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,989.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seascape with sailing ships outside a rocky coast von Andreas Christian Riis Carstensen für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andreas Christian Riis Carstensen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Istanbul im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.989,71).
