Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by André van der Vossen was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,440.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André van der Vossen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A composition in blue, yellow, orange and green, which sold at auction in June 2002 for EUR 3,107.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von André van der Vossen wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.440,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von André van der Vossen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A composition in blue, yellow, orange and green beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für EUR 3.107,00 versteigert wurde.
