Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Beach chairs by André van der Vossen for EUR 720.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by André van der Vossen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A composition in blue, yellow, orange and green in June 2002 with an auction result of EUR 3,107.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beach chairs von André van der Vossen für EUR 720,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André van der Vossen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A composition in blue, yellow, orange and green im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.107,00.
