Admittedly, works by Anatoly Zverev have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a woman in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 51,081.69).

Die Arbeit Portrait of the Writer Vladislav Shumsky von Anatoly Zverev wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.063,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anatoly Zverev auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a woman im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 51.081,69).
