Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Man in a Hat by Anatoly Zverev. The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,398.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anatoly Zverev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a woman in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 51,081.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man in a Hat von Anatoly Zverev zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.398,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Zverev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a woman im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 51.081,69).
