Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work Something more comfortable... by Anatoly Demenko. The price achieved of GBP 600.00 (€ 886.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Demenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Up Or Down?, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,505.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Something more comfortable... von Anatoly Demenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 886,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Demenko mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Up Or Down? beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.505,86) versteigert wurde.
