Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Geisha by Anatoly Demenko was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,241.74). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Demenko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Up Or Down?, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,505.86).

Die Arbeit The Geisha von Anatoly Demenko kam im August 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 840,00 (€ 1.241,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Demenko mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Up Or Down? beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.505,86) versteigert wurde.
