Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work An Afternoon In by Anatoly Demenko. The price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 837.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Anatoly Demenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Up Or Down? in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,505.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Afternoon In von Anatoly Demenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 837,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anatoly Demenko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Up Or Down? im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.505,86).
