Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Othello. by Alfred Hrdlicka was sold in the One of a Kind. Drawings & Paintings | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in April last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,300.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Hrdlicka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Countdown (Beine der Skulptur). 1968/69. in June 2013 with an auction result of CHF 78,000.00 (€ 63,443.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Othello. von Alfred Hrdlicka wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion One of a Kind. Drawings & Paintings | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.300,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Hrdlicka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Countdown (Beine der Skulptur). 1968/69. im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 78.000,00 (€ 63.443,20).
