Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work A figure before an altar by Alfred Robert Hayward for GBP 29.38 (€ 46.86). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Robert Hayward achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In a sunlit garden in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 23,900.00 (€ 34,308.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A figure before an altar von Alfred Robert Hayward für GBP 29,38 (€ 46,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00.
