Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Variation: Jardin by Alexej von Jawlensky was auctioned at Il Ponte in November this year. The result of EUR 40,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexej von Jawlensky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schokko (Schokko Mit Tellerhut) Schokko (Schokko With Wide-Brimmed Hat) in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,428,500.00 (€ 12,332,107.99).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Variation: Jardin von Alexej von Jawlensky kam im November diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 40.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexej von Jawlensky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schokko (Schokko Mit Tellerhut) Schokko (Schokko With Wide-Brimmed Hat) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.428.500,00 (€ 12.332.107,99).
