Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons, which included the work Coastal View by Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,465.18), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At Dusk, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 36,250.00 (€ 49,225.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coastal View von Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.465,18) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexei Vasilievich Hanzen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit At Dusk beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 36.250,00 (€ 49.225,76) versteigert wurde.
