Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Albert Mertz for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.36). This price was achieved in the auction A Clear Form at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Mertz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red and blue composition in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 9,500.00 (€ 8,302.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Albert Mertz für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A Clear Form bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Mertz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red and blue composition im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 9.500,00 (€ 8.302,74).
