Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Boys; A Boating Expedition by Albert Ludovici, Jnr. for GBP 4,700.00 (€ 7,807.64). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Ludovici, Jnr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Musical Party, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,152.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Boys; A Boating Expedition von Albert Ludovici, Jnr. für GBP 4.700,00 (€ 7.807,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Victorian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Ludovici, Jnr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Musical Party beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.152,35) versteigert wurde.
