Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work Sunday by the sea by Albert Ludovici, Jnr.. The price achieved of GBP 376.00 (€ 549.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Ludovici, Jnr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Musical Party in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,152.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion At Home-British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunday by the sea von Albert Ludovici, Jnr. zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 376,00 (€ 549,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Ludovici, Jnr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Musical Party im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.152,35).
