In the 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures auction, the work A French river landscape changed hands for GBP 2,937.50 (€ 4,221.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert-Gabriel Rigolot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Villagers in the Desert in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 100,041.68).
