Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Albert Bitran achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Grande oblique - 1971 sold for EUR 6,560.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Bitran have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lumiere D'Automne Dans L'Atelier, 1963 in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 52,585.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Bitran erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Grande oblique - 1971 für EUR 6.560,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Bitran auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lumiere D'Automne Dans L'Atelier, 1963 im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.585,00.
