Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio Con Villa by Adriano Spilimbergo was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adriano Spilimbergo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venezia, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 10,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio Con Villa von Adriano Spilimbergo wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Adriano Spilimbergo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venezia beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 10.800,00 versteigert wurde.
