Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2016 Christies in Paris held the auction Tableaux 1400-1900, which included the work Diane et Callisto, Actéon dans le lointain by Adriaen van Stalbemt. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 32,500.00. Admittedly, works by Adriaen van Stalbemt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Building Of The Tabernacle With The Israelites Sewing The Curtains in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 140,669.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Tableaux 1400-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Diane et Callisto, Actéon dans le lointain von Adriaen van Stalbemt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 32.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adriaen van Stalbemt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Building Of The Tabernacle With The Israelites Sewing The Curtains im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 140.669,19).
