In October 2018 Christies in New York held the auction European Art: Part II, which included the work Arab Riders by Adolf Schreyer. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,061.42) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolf Schreyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Chase in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 464,000.00 (€ 359,160.93).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion European Art: Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arab Riders von Adolf Schreyer zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.061,42) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolf Schreyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Chase im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 464.000,00 (€ 359.160,93).
