Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work An Arab horseman by Adolf Schreyer. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,342.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolf Schreyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Chase in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 464,000.00 (€ 359,160.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Arab horseman von Adolf Schreyer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.342,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolf Schreyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Chase im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 464.000,00 (€ 359.160,93).
