Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Woman giving milk by Adolf Ulrik Wertmüller was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,000.00 (€ 903.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolf Ulrik Wertmüller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Portrait de jeune fille" in June 2015 with an auction result of SEK 570,000.00 (€ 61,578.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Woman giving milk von Adolf Ulrik Wertmüller im Dezember 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.000,00 (€ 903,40) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolf Ulrik Wertmüller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Portrait de jeune fille" im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 570.000,00 (€ 61.578,81).
