Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work Skating on the frozen lake by Adolf Stademann. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,531.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolf Stademann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Skaters on the ice, Holland, which sold at auction in April 2005 for EUR 9,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Skating on the frozen lake von Adolf Stademann zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.531,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolf Stademann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Skaters on the ice, Holland beobachtet, die im April 2005 für EUR 9.000,00 versteigert wurde.
