The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,500.00 (€ 5,735.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Adolf Stademann have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2005 the work Skaters on the ice, Holland was auctioned for EUR 9,000.00.
