In December 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work German the Charge by Adolf Schreyer. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,507.07), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolf Schreyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Chase in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 464,000.00 (€ 359,160.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit German the Charge von Adolf Schreyer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.507,07) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolf Schreyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Chase im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 464.000,00 (€ 359.160,93).
