Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adolf Luther could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, the work Mirror Object changed hands for EUR 3,780.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolf Luther achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Struktur Für Licht (Licht Und Materie) in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 135,265.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adolf Luther konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wechselte die Arbeit Mirror Object für EUR 3.780,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adolf Luther erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Struktur Für Licht (Licht Und Materie) im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 135.265,65).
