The Amsterdam-based artist (*1991) is a trained graphic designer. Her particular eye for advertising slogans and language trends is only the basis of her performances: Turato's abilities to disguise her voice and express emotions intensely are most highly praised by critics. With her work, the artist also wants to draw attention to the fact that, seen globally, women's freedom of speech is not a given, as it should be.
