»A painting is finished when I no longer understand it,« says Fabian Eichstaedt about his work. The artist, who has been working since 2020, gives free rein to his imagination and sets no limits to it. His works are examples of the infinite possibilities that art offers when spontaneity and free creativity prevail. The current exhibition Rico Chibac x Fabian Eichstaedt is an exhibition experiment: the artist friends spontaneously decided to organize the exhibition. Over the course of ten days, each began working on new works alone, which were then exchanged several times and expanded and finally completed by the other without further consultation. In some cases, the artists only encountered the finished versions of their works, which they had started themselves, when they hung the exhibition.

The exhibits will be presented at the K-OZ Gallery in Hamburg. The exhibition can be seen daily from 5 to 9 p.m. until June 14, and from 3 to 11 p.m. at the finissage on June 15. The address of the K-OZ Gallery is Beim Grünen Jäger 11-13. Fabian Eichstaedt, who is taking part in the Art.Salon artist program, lives in Hamburg and has previously exhibited at the Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt and Cologne and at the Hamburg Art Gallery.Art.Salon

London, Tate Britain

It was one of the most moving decades in the history of the United Kingdom: the 1980s, characterized by strikes, protests and AIDS. Photographers documented this period and in some cases became political activists themselves through their images. The exhibition The 80s: Photographing Britain opens on November 21 at the Tate Britain in London.
