The next edition of the ARTe art fair will take place in Sindelfingen from March 17 to 20, 2022. The contemporary art fair will present around 90 galleries and selected artists on 5,000 square meters, offering a whole range of visual, artistic creativity. With its open exhibition format, ARTe will function as a kind of marketplace for artistic diversity and a meeting place for visitors interested in art. They will also have the opportunity to take a guided tour with art historian Dr. Anette Ochsenwadel. On a total of six dates, Ochsenwadel will present current positions of the exhibitors and place them in their respective art historical context.
ARTe Sindelfingen, which has been in existence since 2016, is the first independent trade fair for contemporary art in the Stuttgart metropolitan region. In the first two years of its existence, it was still held at the same time as the antique fair, then in 2018 it was moved to March as a solo fair. The following year, a sister fair was added in September in Wiesbaden, and since 2021 it has also been accompanied by art events in Constance and at Stettenfels Castle.
