Since its premiere in 1932, the Whitney Biennial has been one of the most important events in the art world. Initially held annually, the exhibition presents the most innovative artists. Their work will shape the coming developments in art. This year, the Whitney Museum of American Art invites you to New York for the show from April 6 to September 5.
The Whitney Biennial focuses on artists living in the United States, regardless of nationality. In the past, Edward Hopper, Georgia O'Keeffe, Milton Avery and Florine Stettheimer, among others, exhibited there. The 80th edition in 2022, titled Quiet as It's Kept, is again expected to feature controversial artworks that predict the developments of the decade.
