Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape And Bamboo by Zhang Zongcang was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,236.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Zongcang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasolhall In Autumn in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 49,560,000.00 (€ 5,849,854.06).
