This artwork by Zhang Xiaogang achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work My Memory No.1 (Executed In 2002) sold for HKD 45,600.00 (€ 46,566.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiaogang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 98,035,000.00 (€ 10,340,568.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Xiaogang erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit My Memory No.1 (Executed In 2002) für HKD 45.600,00 (€ 46.566,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiaogang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bloodline Series The Big Family No. 2 im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 98.035.000,00 (€ 10.340.568,27).
