Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy - Poem by Wang Wan by Yu Youren was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,194.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Youren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in Cursive Script in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,820,000.00 (€ 411,280.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy - Poem by Wang Wan von Yu Youren wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.194,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Youren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy in Cursive Script im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.820.000,00 (€ 411.280,89).
