Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Visiting Friends In Autumn Mountain by Xiao Xun was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 33,780.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Xun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape Album, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 649,000.00 (€ 76,373.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Visiting Friends In Autumn Mountain von Xiao Xun wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 33.780,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Xun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape Album beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 649.000,00 (€ 76.373,84) versteigert wurde.
