Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape after Ni Zan sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,850.90) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wu Yun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Letter To Lu Xinyuan sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,919.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Yun erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape after Ni Zan für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.850,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wu Yun; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Letter To Lu Xinyuan im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.919,43).
