Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Paerels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The harbour of Blankenberghe in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 60,000.00.

Die Arbeit Woman at the beach von Willem Paerels kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Paerels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The harbour of Blankenberghe im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 60.000,00.
