Upper estimate price exceeded by 94 %.
This artwork by Wang Yidong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work A Set Of Four Lithographs sold for USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,114.99) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yidong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Teasing The Newlyweds in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 19,160,000.00 (€ 1,875,549.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
