Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kremlin by Vasily Sitnikov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 45,087.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vasily Sitnikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Self-Portrait With Crows By The Kremlin, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 110,500.00 (€ 157,390.84).
