Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nevsky Prospect by Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,099.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New Year’S Celebrations On Palace Square in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 103,241.40).
