In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Nevsky Prospect In Spring by Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,552.54), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New Year’S Celebrations On Palace Square, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 103,241.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nevsky Prospect In Spring von Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.552,54) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit New Year’S Celebrations On Palace Square beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 103.241,40) versteigert wurde.
