Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Fireworks On Victory Day by Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,011.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New Year’S Celebrations On Palace Square, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 87,500.00 (€ 103,241.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fireworks On Victory Day von Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.011,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vasily Ivanovich Vikulov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit New Year’S Celebrations On Palace Square beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 87.500,00 (€ 103.241,40) versteigert wurde.
