Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trapp Und Tastkino by Valie Export was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2013. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,819.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Valie Export have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Einkreisung' (Encirclement) (From Körperkonfigurationen (Body Configurations)) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 60,480.00 (€ 51,927.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trapp Und Tastkino von Valie Export wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.819,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
