Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ugo Rondinone could be acquired at Phillips in New York in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work I don't live here anymore changed hands for USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,188.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ugo Rondinone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Day Like This.Made Of Nothing And Nothing Else in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,131,000.00 (€ 998,851.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ugo Rondinone konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wechselte die Arbeit I don't live here anymore für USD 1.260,00 (€ 1.188,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ugo Rondinone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Day Like This.Made Of Nothing And Nothing Else im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.131.000,00 (€ 998.851,89).
