This artwork by Tony Bevan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2018. In the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Head and Neck sold for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,153.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tony Bevan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Corridor in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 128,272.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tony Bevan erzielte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Head and Neck für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.153,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tony Bevan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Corridor im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 128.272,02).
