Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work #3176, 2003 by Todd Hido for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,901.53). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Todd Hido achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images from House Hunting in October 2017 with an auction result of USD 36,250.00 (€ 31,121.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit #3176, 2003 von Todd Hido für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.901,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Todd Hido erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images from House Hunting im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.250,00 (€ 31.121,22).
